I’m just really confused
All us who got it had their backs regarding the decision of dropping Let’s Go Surfing from the live show and going against what’s expected of them- to ignore their “biggest hit”. I really respected them for being honest about not being into it at the risk of losing fans.
I can’t think of a single band that hasn’t contradicted themselves or gone back on their word at some point but wouldn’t like to think The Drums have had a sudden change of heart. Bringing it back is only encouraging that representation or misrepresentation they’re trying to rid themselves of. Hoping its just a one- shot thing for festivals or whatever if not all thats been said seems a bit pointless really.
They’ve never said that they’d never play it again but I’d hate to think its some conceded move to which I’d feel disappointed to be honest.

I think they have played this song in Singapore because they need to promote theirself! it is publicity move

i agree. i’m shocked they’re playing it - to think about all the times their fans defended them when people got pissed because they didn’t play it at shows.
